The introductory session of our Leftist theory reading group addresses the notion of postmodernity, as it is discussed by David Harvey in his seminal book The Condition of Postmodernity (1989).

Session are led by Ștefan Guga, currently a Ph.D. student in sociology and anthropology at the Central European University in Budapest. Ștefan holds an MA from the same institution and a BA in sociology from the University of Bucharest.

Sesiunile introductive al grupului de lectură stângist adresează noțiunea de postmodernitate, așa cum apare în cartea esențială a lui David Harvey din 1989, Condiția potmodernității (traducere în limba română de Cristina Gyurcsik și Irina Matei, PDF integral disponibil).

Sesiunile sunt conduse de Ștefan Guga, doctorand în sociologie şi antropologie la Central European University în Budapesta. Ștefan a absolvit un program de master în cadrul aceleiaşi instituţii şi a urmat cursurile de licenţă în sociologie la Universitatea Bucureşti.
