I am here together with my Romanian editor Ana Branea to edit my diploma film for my film school in Germany. The film is about the youngest female mayor in East Turkey in a town where mostly Kurdish people live. Her goal is to rebuild the city, which was destroyed by civil wars. She is doing her projects well and thinks that everything will be ok. But then the situation changes completely, as a new war begins.

As part of my residency at ODD, I will organize 2 public screenings, once of my own previous work, the other of a curated selection of films on the topic of political room. Both will be followed by talks.
